I am an experienced teacher with a background in teaching others in all walks of life. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Colorado and earned my master's degree in Religious Studies from Regis University. I also possess a TEFL certificate that allows me to officially teach English in other countries. While I was studying for my bachelor's degree, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to East Africa where I was able to immerse myself in the local culture, politics, and the language. After this experience I was motivated to move on with teaching, and after I earned by TEFL certification, I decided to travel again. I found myself in Chile, where I spent a year teaching the English language. I also worked as a Math Fellow for a local public school and was able to teach math to grades 3 through 8.I am able to teach English on any level, of any age group. I am also able to tutor various other subjects, such as elementary and middle school math, Algebra, American History, Geography, and Social Studies.I also enjoy personal interests such as reading, traveling, writing, and have a black belt in Taekwondo.
